Great Strides Walk For Cystic Fibrosis

Been a while since I have posted anything. Its been a rough month for us, nothing major but I have been ill, Lorenzo had an ear infection and is breaking some molars (teething is a pain…lol).

Anyway on to the posting. We have once again signed up for the Great Strides walk for Cystic Fibrosis. This is a walk set up by to raise money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.

Before we had Lorenzo we had only heard of Cystic Fibrosis, we didnt “know” what it was. Now that we have been dealing with this illness for 18 months we have come to learn a lot about it. We try daily to educate people about CF, and I think we have done a good job.

CF research has no government funding, all research is funded by private donations from people such as yourself. That is where the Great Strides walk comes in. It is a great way for us to raise money for the research of Cystic Fibrosis.

Last year we were able raise around $750 dollars to us we felt like that was awesome being that it was our first year participating. We thank those that donated last year and appreciate all the support. This year we would love to be able to blow that total out of the water. We are planning a little something special for those that donate this year (can’t tell you what it is yet though). We are off to a strong start this year and in two weeks have raised $305.

If you could please donate and support us on our walk it would be greatly appreciated. Follow the link which will take you directly to the Great Strides donation site. any amount will work, remember no amount is too small. Help us make “One Breath Matter”

Also we are looking at designing a t-shirt for our walkers. If anyone would like to help us design it please contact us.
